I have been a diabetic for years and have always maintain a very strict diet so that my condition do not get worse. Recently I had my worse fear turned to reality.
I developed gangrene in my toes and the doctor told me that I have to amputate my toes. It was indeed painful and have to endure weeks of pain while watching the wound slowly heal.
